She has taught for twelve years in secondary schools, concurrently earning master's degrees in education and pastoral theology. She served St. Ambrose Academy in Madison for seven years in the roles of teacher, dean of students, dean of faculty, and director of student ministries. In 2018, she fell in love with CGS and its manner of living religious and liturgical life with children. She is certified in CGS Levels 1-3 and has spent the last six years working in Level 1 and 2 atria while teaching theology and mathematics to 6-12th grade students as her day job. In May of 2024, she earned her primary Montessori certification at Mary's Catholic Montessori Training Center in Eudora, Kansas, where she was absolutely delighted by the Montessori math materials. She is excited to be joining the DMA team in forming children to reach their fullest potential. Theresa is a consecrated virgin living in the world and loves Jesus intensely.
