Meet Our Team

Laura has been an occupational therapist for the last 15+ years, specializing in pediatrics. She graduated with a degree in occupational therapy from UW-LaCrosse and has worked in public and private schools, as well as private practice settings. Laura has worked with kids of all ages and abilities, many of them with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, over the course of her career. Working alongside parents, teachers, and other professionals, she has helped many children improve their ability to engage in the world around them. Laura and her husband Michael have five children, with two of them attending Divine Mercy Academy. She and her family attend Christ the King Parish in McFarland.

Nicole attended Elon University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Most of Nicole's clinical experience has been in out patient ortho. Since then Nicole has spent some time in the public schools working as a physical therapist (PT) in the student services department, and was able to share her gift of PT at DMA with a couple students over the past two years. Nicole is extremely excited and honored to join the student services team this school year as a part time student service assistant. Nicole is passionate about helping every student reach their full potential and accomplish things they didn't know they were capable of. Nicole and her family have not only been a part of DMA through Nicole's service as a PT, but her daughter Annabelle is a third grade student in the lower elementary class this year and has attended DMA the last three years. Annabelle is one of four daughters Nicole and her husband Mike have the joy of raising. Mike and Nicole's number one goal is to pour the love of Jesus and truth into their children daily. Nicole is excited to bring that same goal to the entire DMA family.

Justyna received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders and Slavic Languages at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She continued her studies at UW-Madison and received her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Justyna worked in the Waterloo, Marshall, and Oregon public schools serving children ages 3-21 with various speech and language needs. Justyna and her husband Colin have three children and attend the St. Maria Goretti Parish in Madison. She enjoys spending her leisure time experimenting with recipes, baking bread, gardening, and playing board games.

Emily received her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from UW Madison, and also became certified in early childhood education through Edgewood College. She has taught Special Education in the Middleton Cross Plains Area School District for the past three years. Emily was inspired to pursue a career in Special Education because of her brother, Michael, who has Down Syndrome. Emily, her husband Jared, and their son Landon live in Madison and are active members of St. Christopher Parish. Emily joined Divine Mercy Academy this year, fall 2022. Welcome, Emily Norgal!
